ELECTRONIC PHOTOCELL FEEDING (OPTIONAL)
An electromagnetic feeding element controlled by a photocell automatically brings the ribbon under the knife; ideal for woven ribbons without a feeding stitch and for printed ribbons.

“HI-TECH” PHOTOCELL FEEDING

This particularly sensitive photocell can read tone on tone colours (“FKB” includes electronic photocell feeding)

CUTTING SYSTEMS
FUSION CUTTING (STANDARD) – The fusion cutting system supplied can process ribbons up to 75 mm wide and ensures perfect welding of the edges which are resistant to tough wash cycles. Special management of the blade avoid the ribbon being damaged by the heat of the blade. The temperature is electronically controlled to remain constant during processing. Robust design and the use of top grade steel guarantee the operator can work with satisfaction, preventing costly downtime.
FUSION CUTTING 100 mm WIDTH (OPTIONAL)
The specially modified guide when used together with the standard blade can carry out the single cut of ribbons up to 100 mm wide (standard for Omnilabel Logic 2.0)
FUSION CUTTING 115 mm WIDTH (OPTIONAL)
This specially designed fusion cutting unit complete with a functional and customised guide can carry out the single cut of ribbons up to 115 mm wide
SCISSOR CUTTING (OPTIONAL)
Designed for cutting ribbons up to 75 mm in width produced with any type of yarn even mixed cotton or Rayon. The temperature is adjustable and controlled electronically to remain constant during processing
SCISSOR CUTTING 45° (OPTIONAL)
This specially modified version of the K – Scissor cutting option makes a 45º angle cut on ribbons
ULTRASONIC CUTTING (OPTIONAL)
Ideal for cutting polyester and acetate, leaving the cut edge extremely soft to the touch. Two different ultrasonic cutting systems are available as options, one cuts up to 50 mm (U50) and the other up to 75 mm (U75), sealing the edges while cutting

It is ideal to improve the quality of the ribbons, particularly when they are not ironed during the processing. Our ribbon ironing unit increases the productivity of cut and fold machines, facilitating the ribbon processing and reducing the waste.
